Subj: UPDATE TO FINANCIAL SYSTEM BLACKOUT/CUTOVER IMPACT ON AUXILIARY PATROL ORDERS

1. This is a follow-up to ALAUX 029-21 which announced the Coast Guard’s transition to the new DHS financial management and procurement system called the Financial Systems Modernization Solution (FSMS). The transition period was expected to run from October 01, 2021 through November 17, 2021.

2. Recently released ALCOAST 411/21 indicates the data migration effort is two weeks behind schedule. The transition period is therefore expected to run through December 1, 2021.

3. All other requirements and guidance in ALAUX 036/21 remain in effect, and new functions and associated user guides for requesting and processing patrol orders in AUXDATA II continue to be developed.

4. Please use your Chain of Leadership and Management (COLM) or Chain of Command, as appropriate, to address any questions or concerns.

5. Internet release is authorized.

***For many reasons including the value of keeping communication lines clear and open as well as facilitating access to training and educational tools, all Auxiliarists are urged to have their own email address and to keep it updated in AUXDATA.***
