Subj: AUXILIARY AVIATION POLICY LETTER 22-02 – SUSPENSION

1. ALAUX 008/02 recently placed Policy Letter 22-02, AUXILIARY AVIATION CALL SIGNS UPDATE, in effect. This Policy Letter is now suspended.

2. The need to change Auxiliary aviation facility call signs is being revisited. Until the need to make such changes is resolved, the provisions of Policy Letter 22-02 are suspended. No changes to Auxiliary aviation facility call signs will be made in AUXDATA II, and Auxiliary aviators must continue to use their traditional aviation facility call signs using their “CGX” three-letter designator convention until further notice.

3. Internet release is authorized.

***For many reasons including the value of keeping communication lines clear and open as well as facilitating access to training and educational tools, all Auxiliarists are urged to have their own email address and to keep it updated in AUXDATA II.***
