Subj: PROMULGATION OF THE DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION EDUCATION AND AWARENESS PROGRAM

1. Recently the Coast Guard released ALCOAST 229/22 which promulgated the Diversity and Inclusion Education and Awareness Program, COMDTINST 5360.1. This instruction established the Coast Guard’s Diversity and Inclusion Education and Awareness Program for all Coast Guard active duty, reservist, civilian, and Auxiliarist personnel.
