Subj:  COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE AND NATIONAL BOARD MEETINGS INVITATION 


1. All Auxiliarists are invited to attend the Coast Guard Auxiliary’s first virtual Committee of the Whole meeting this coming Friday, February 19, 2021, at 1300 EST, and the first virtual National Board meeting this coming Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 1300 EST. The meetings will be live-streamed on YouTube. To join the meeting click on https://www.youtube.com/USCoastGuardAuxiliaryNationalEvents

2. In the Committee of the Whole meeting, Auxiliarists will be able to watch the dedicated and hard-working National Executive Committee (NEXCOM) report on Auxiliary programs and operations throughout the Auxiliary’s Atlantic East, Atlantic West, and Pacific areas. Rear Admiral David Dermanelian, Assistant Commandant for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Technology (CG-6), and Rear Admiral Dana Thomas, Director of Health, Safety, and Work-life (CG-11), will be guest speakers.

3. In the National Board meeting, Auxiliarists will be able to watch the completion of National Board business and discussions with Coast Guard Flag Officers including the Commandant of the Coast Guard, Admiral Karl Schultz; the Vice Commandant of the Coast Guard, Admiral Charles Ray; the Deputy Commandant for Operations, Vice Admiral Scott Buschman; the Atlantic Area Commander, Vice Admiral Steven Poulin; and the Assistant Commandant for Prevention Policy, Rear Admiral Richard Timme (CG-5P).
