Subj:  SUPPORT AND RESPONSE TO HURRICANE IAN IN DISTRICT SEVEN

 


 

1.  This ALAUX addresses District Seven Auxiliary support, pre-storm and post-storm response.

 

2.  Operation Code HURRICANE IAN has been designated for use in AUXDATA II for Auxiliarists to utilize when logging activity in direct support of Hurricane Ian, and can only be used for Auxiliary resources that have been authorized by the District Seven Area Command Incident Command Post (ICP).

 

3.  The District Seven Director of Auxiliary and Operation Training Officer have sent separate correspondence to Auxiliary Liaison Officers (AUXLO) and Order Issuing Authorities describing the process for requesting patrol orders through the ICP. This correspondence also provides guidance on processing patrol orders in AUXDATA II.

 

4. All Auxiliarists requesting to support shall coordinate capabilities and availabilities through their AUXLO. The AUXLO will request clearance through the District Seven ICP. Once clearance is received, the AUXLO will initiate the patrol order in AUXDATA II. Auxiliarists SHOULD NOT request patrol orders in AUXDATA II.

 

5.  All other Auxiliarists’ support functions (i.e., patrol orders not required) shall be requested through the District Seven Area Command ICP Assistant District Staff Officer – Emergency Management Deputy (ADSO-EM-D), Mr. Efrain Sora, email: eisora1@yahoo.com.

 

6.  Internet release is authorized.
